Vladimir Kramnik will not play in Corus chess tournament


The tournament, which features 14 of the world's best chess players, will be without fourth seed Vladimir Kramnik who pulled out at the last moment reasoning a form of arthritis as the cause.

"I would like to inform the chess community that due to health problems I shall not be able to participate in the Corus chess tournament 2006." the Russian said in a release.
